The Film: The Living Daylights was the first Bond for Timothy Dalton, who proved to be an excellent Bond, and this is an excellent Bond film. The only slightly weak point is the villain, Brad Whitaker. The film has less silly humour and more harder action than the Roger Moore Bond films.
The Poster: This poster is based around the car chase on ice which forms one of the central action pieces in the film. |

The Film: Licence to Kill, takes the hard edge from TLD even further, and it becomes one of the closest representations of Ian Fleming's Bond ever to appear on Cinema. Sanchez is a great villain, although the film as a whole doesn't have the same polished feel as many of the other Bond films. Nonetheless it is a very good action movie, the only Bond film to receive a '15' certificate.
The Poster: I wanted to capture something of the harder feel of the film with this poster. Once again I resorted to the gunbarrel image, and included images of the supporting cast reflected in the iris. |
|
The Poster: This rather simplistic teaser design is inspired by the first teaser for the forthcoming 'Quantum of Solace' starring Daniel Craig. I chose to simply go with the image of Bond as he is on a one-man mission of revenge in this film, without the support of the British government. |
|
The Poster: Now to take some of the ideas which i started in the teaser and build on them to create an action packed full poster version. 'Look out Pam, Sanchez is about to behead you!' |
