The Film: On Her Majesty's Secret Service is a great film. As well as having some of the best action of the series, it has a great relationship between Bond and the girl Tracy. It is the one true love story of the 007 film series. The film also has probably the best score of any Bond film. The main theme is a piece of killer action music and the love theme is one of the most beautiful ever written.
The Poster: This is a teaser based around the new Bond, George Lazenby. The official campaign kept the new Bond's face hidden, but here I have gone for the opposite approach. I think ther overall effect is much nicer to look at. |
The Poster: Now a full poster based around the same pic of Lazenby, (which is a composite manipulation) and the union jack theme. Also introduced is Bond's bride, Tracy. I decided to keep the villains face hidden to maintain a sense of mystery about his identity. |
The Poster: Another teaser, this time a retro styled one, which once again just focuses on Lazenby. I played around a bit with the colour scheme, eventually settling for this red one, along the lines of the Japanese posters created for 2002s Die Another Day. |

The Poster: This poster is my favourite of the ones I created for OHMSS. It is the result of my playing around with colourising black and white stills. I was quite happy with the result. Like my poster for Goldfinger, the inspiration comes from a poster created for The Living Daylights. |
The Poster: As I have done with the other 60s films, here is a retro style rendering of OHMSS to match the rest of them. I decided to have Piz Gloria as the central image as I travelled there last year, and it is one of my favourite places on Earth! |
